Random Acts of Kindness Day Competition
Do you know someone who consistently goes the extra mile, puts others first, or is simply the kindest person you’ve ever met? Now’s your chance to celebrate them and show your appreciation.
This Random Acts of Kindness Day, we’re searching for Northamptonshire’s kindest resident. Nominate your thoughtful friend, caring colleague, loving family member, friendly neighbour, or any standout member of the community who lives in Northamptonshire by sending us an email. They could win £500 in gift cards to spend at Rushden Lakes.
The prize: £500 worth of physical gift cards* for Rushden Lakes brands, selected by the winner. Maximum of 2 x gift cards. Brand list to choose from will be provided to the winner and will be down to physical gift card availability.
To enter: Nominate your special someone by sending an email with the subject line “Rushden Lakes – Random Acts of Kindness Day” to customerservices@rushdenlakes.com and include the following mandatory information:

Random Acts of Kindness Day Competition Tuesday 17 February at 10AM (GMT) – Friday 6 March at 6PM (GMT)
Details of collecting the prize will be provided via email. We will never send out links or ask for card details
One winner will be selected from all eligible entrants/nominations and judged by a small panel of judges against specific criteria after the competition close date of 6PM on Friday 6 March 2026
No replacement vouchers or prizes are available if lost, damaged or redeemed.
Not transferable.
No cash value.
Prizes must be collected from Rushden Lakes Customer Services. Prizes cannot be posted.
The winner/nominee and entrant/nominator will be asked to show their IDs on collection and will be required to have their photograph taken for promotional purposes, including digital and press. Quotes may be requested.
The entrant/nominator must respond via email to accept the prize on behalf of the winner/nominee within 7 days of being notified. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited.
The nominator and nominee must live in Northamptonshire
The nominator must know the person they are nominating and must know how to contact them if selected to win

The promoter is Rushden Lakes, Northamptonshire
The competition is open to residents of Northamptonshire only, aged 18 years or over except employees of Rushden Lakes or shops within and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition
By entering this competition, an entrant/nominator is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions
Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via our website and social channels
Only one entry will be accepted per person/nominator. Multiple entries from the same person/nominator will be disqualified
Closing date for entry is 6PM on Friday 6 March 2026. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition
The prize is as stated on this webpage and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice
To enter the competition, the entrant/ nominator must email customerservices@rushdenlakes.com with the required mandatory information as stated on this webpage. The nominator and nominee must live in Northamptonshire. The nominator must know the person they are nominating and must know how to contact them if selected to win. One winner will be chosen from all eligible entries received, judged by a small panel of judges against specific criteria and chosen at the discretion of the judging panel after the date stated in the post. The decision of the judging panel is final
The nominator will be notified within 14 days of the closing date
If the nominator cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner/nominee and pick a replacement winner/nominee
The promoter will notify the entrant/nominator when the prize can be collected from Rushden Lakes Customer Services. The nominator is then responsible for all communication with the nominee, including letting them know they’ve won, confirming chosen gift cards and arranging the prize collection date
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England
The nominator agrees to the use of the nominee’s name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the nominee, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Rushden Lakes and/or its agents and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with Rushden Lakes’ Privacy Policy
Rushden Lakes shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage
Rushden Lakes also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control
