Charity of the Year

We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the Rushden Lakes Charity of the Year 2026/27. This initiative gives one Northamptonshire charity the chance to work closely with us across a full year, gaining dedicated support, space, and visibility to help grow their reach and make an even greater impact in the community. 

The Charity of the Year programme is designed to champion an organisation doing vital work in Northamptonshire. The chosen charity will receive a year of support from our team, including social media and digital promotion, use of on‑site advertising space, access to outdoor event areas, opportunities to use the Rushden Lakes Community Sheds, and a designated donation collection point at Customer Services. All of these benefits are provided completely free of charge to help maximise the charity’s potential throughout the partnership. 

Last year, we were proud to support The Never Alone Project, an amazing local organisation offering compassionate support to adults and families experiencing grief. Their presence at Rushden Lakes helped them reach new audiences, run awareness activities, and strengthen their community impact throughout the year.
