JULY
Saturday 2nd & 3rd July: Handmade & Vintage Fair
A treasure trove of cherry-picked and individually invited exhibitors, showcasing only the most original, high quality and affordable handmade & vintage gift and collectables.
Thursday 28th July: It’s our 5th birthday, celebrate with us!
Visit us on our birthday and look out for the ‘Mischievous Mouse & Pieces of Cake’! Take a photo with them, say hello and you never know…you might just get a gift! They will be here between 11am & 4pm!
Keep your eyes peeled for our biggest competition yet on our website! There will be amazing prizes up for grabs including vouchers for AJ Cycles & Decathlon, a meal at Wildwood & Blue Mountain Yard, treats from L’Occitane and many more!
Saturday 23rd July: Ibiza Summer Party charity event
Join Hopmaster The Reserve on Saturday 23rd July for a fun day of events in association with the Chris Frankish Trust! This is to raise funds in support of the following two charities: Bedford Open Door & Just Us. Hopmaster have lots of fun stuff going on throughout the day for both adults and children! Sunday 31st July: Pop Up Planners Market
Pop Up Planners host their market on the last Sunday of every month. Local produce and sweet & savoury treats to enjoy on site or take away.
Sundays & Wednesdays (with the exception of 20th July): Silver Surfers
We welcome the Silver Surfers to Garden Square and the Boardwalk! A fabulous local band playing music from the 50’s to the 80’s! The band also collect for Macmillan Cancer charity.
Thursday 28th July, 4th & 11th August: Paddleboard Practice & Play at Canoe2
A new opportunity to enjoy some SUP time on the water here at Rushden Lakes with Canoe2. Option to bring your own board, or hire one of ours, and paddle a section of the lake after all other types of craft are off the water.
Various dates in July & August: Summer events at The Nene Wetlands
A fantastic range of events and activities have been organised by The Wildlife Trust at The Nene Wetlands. From pond dipping and bug hunting to bat walks and butterfly trails!

AUGUST
Thursday 4th August: Stanwick Handbell ringers!
On Thursday 4th August we welcome the Stanwick Handbell ringers between 10am & 12pm. They will be playing in between Bills and Jamaica Blue. Come and enjoy the music!

Tuesday 16th August & Tuesday 23rd August: Meet the dinosaurs!
66 million years ago, Dinosaurs roamed this earth. Now, with the help of Dinosaur Experiences – they’re back and coming to Rushden Lakes! Feel the excitement as you come face-to-face with a dinosaur and hear it’s roooooooarrrrrr! Meet the baby dinosaurs too and learn amazing dino-facts from the Ranger!
Saturday 27th August: Step N Grooves Dance School!
We are excited to welcome back Step N Grooves Dance school to Rushden Lakes! A fabulous group of young dancers based in Thrapston. They will perform on Central Boulevard from 1.30pm! Join us to cheer them on!
Every Wednesday 3rd August to 31st August: Rushden Rangers Children’s Club
Rushden Rangers is a free, family club, that provides a great opportunity to get outdoors together. Your little ones can enjoy fun and educational visit and your session will consist of a guided, themed, walk around the beautiful Rushden Lakes.
