To help keep Rushden Lakes safe, accessible and enjoyable for everyone, we'd like to remind visitors of a few simple guidelines and thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation.

Sharing Our Spaces Responsibly

Our pedestrian paths and boardwalks are designed for visitors to explore and enjoy safely. For this reason, cycling and scooting is not permitted on paths or boardwalks across the site.

We also ask visitors to be mindful of noise levels. Excessively loud vehicles, bikes or music can disturb both fellow visitors and local wildlife, particularly given our proximity to the Nene Wetlands and surrounding natural habitats.

Our team works hard to maintain a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone. While we hope visitors will respect these guidelines, persistent breaches of site rules may result in individuals being asked to leave. In more serious or repeated cases, restrictions may be placed on individuals or vehicles from returning to the site. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us protect the experience for all visitors and preserve the special environment that makes Rushden Lakes unique.

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycles are very welcome at Rushden Lakes; however, they must be parked within designated parking spaces in our car parks. For the safety of all visitors, motorcycles should not be ridden or parked on pavements, pedestrian walkways or boardwalks.

Accessible Parking Bays

Our accessible parking bays are provided for visitors who may require additional space to enter and exit their vehicles comfortably and safely. We kindly ask all visitors to respect these spaces and leave them available for those who genuinely need them.

Visiting with Dogs

Rushden Lakes is a dog-friendly destination and we love welcoming four-legged visitors. To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, please keep dogs on leads at all times and be considerate of other visitors, wildlife and the natural environment.

Children's and Animal Safety

Please never leave children or animals unattended in vehicles, particularly during warmer weather when temperatures inside cars can rise rapidly and become dangerous. The safety and wellbeing of all visitors remains our priority.

Respect for Others

Rushden Lakes is a welcoming, family-friendly destination. We do not tolerate abusive, aggressive, intimidating or anti-social behaviour towards our visitors, retailers, staff, security teams or partners. Everyone should feel safe, comfortable and respected while spending time here.
